This Summer I had the opportunity to return to MediaCom for a fortnight to help out with Cannes Media Awards! I have worked at MediaCom working on both internal and external promotional marketing, including designing posters, working with social media and online marketing. During this Summer I worked within the Global Marketing Division at MediaCom assisting with work for the Cannes Media Awards (CMA) 2014. I also assisted with art direction for their up and coming project '2020 connections'!

Summer reading
I have finally finished my first year of FCP with a 2:1, waheey! This means I can sit and relax at home this summer and do what I like to do best; read with a cuppa. While deciding what my summer read would be I can across 'The Goddess experience' by Gisele Scanlon, whos a travel, beauty and fashion blogger who I absolutely adore; make sure to check her out! While I was trawling through Amazon to find my other glossy summer read (Fashion - Charlotte Seeling) I found her book online for only a fiver (student budget and all that..) which is such an amazing price for a book as good as it is! It is filled with fashion articles Gisele has found and shared, shopping advice, travel guide to the best city breaks (my fav section), how to cook up a storm and the 'happy chapter' - a section to make you think about what makes you happy? I loved this as an ending to the book as it is down to earth and personal, especially towards my situation (boyfriend is moving to Singapore, ah gaaad). I totally recommend this book to anyone who just loves a good read, has an interest in fashion, beauty, travel or blogging!
p.s the pages are a visual genius!

Phoebe Lettice X Illustrated People
PREMIER: PHOEBE LETTICE X ILLUSTRATED PEOPLE
Phoebe Lettice has collaborated with Illustrated People to create a collection born from a desire for girly clothing with a boyish silhouette and a love of all things Japanese
Born from a love of Japanese culture, ’90s nostalgia and androgynous shapes, photographer, stylist and designer Phoebe Lettice, has collaborated with East London clothing brand Illustrated People to create a most covetable collection of womens street wear.
Seeing the entire process through from start to finish, Phoebe not only designed the collection but also styled, photographed and cast the campaign herself. “It has been my life for the last six months,” says Phoebe. “But the core two months leading up to the campaign, I was prepping like mad, calling things in way in advance! I had a huge team working on it, so trying to nail this all in one day with three models and four hair stylists was nuts.”
Launching exclusively on Wonderland today, we see the campaign video that features the twenty-two piece collection in all its pastel-punk, platform-booted, crop top suited glory. Think sporty silhouettes, eyeball motifs, cartoon dinosaurs and models with badass braids and chola curls.
I don't know about you but my bank statement won't look pretty.

HOW EFFING COOL?!
So I have come across the most beautiful perfume concept ever; the fragrance lab! Now at Selfridges, 'you will enter a one-of-a-kind profiling experience and leave with your own signature scent that represents the essence of who you are'. Take a look!! Definitely popping into London to get myself some personality orientated perfume!

Greatest PR Campaigns of 2013
Coca-Cola – Share a Coke
Three – #DancingPony
In the light of the horse meat scandal, mobile network provider Three presented us with an entertaining reason why we shouldn’t add horsemeat to our diets by releasing an advert starring a Shetland pony moon-walking to Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere. Three’s dancing pony was a hit, generating over a million Facebook shares, 28,000 retweets on Twitter and almost eight million views on Youtube. - thelincolnite.co.uk
Nandos – #NandosFergieTime
Dove – Real Beauty Campaign
The skincare brand created a fake editing tool advertised as a beautifying tool free for use on Photoshop. As you can imagine, the tool did the exact opposite by unediting changes that were already made to the image.

Thailand?!
Hi readers! With this post i'd thought i'd do something a little bit different and share something a bit more personal rather than just my work! As my boyfriend is going away for a year to study at NTU in Singapore (small world aye?!) I get the most exciting opportunity to go visit him. At first I was a bit skeptical as i've never traveled on my own before and didn't have the best record of dealing with culture shock, which led me to turn down a trip to Thailand with my twin sister (so gutted!!). However, after braving 2 holidays without the parents I now feel comfortable and extremely excited to get to go Singapore, travel round the islands of Thailand and experience Christmas and NYE in Malaysia! even if I do have to get a 20 hour flight to Singapore ON MY OWN but i'm not really thinking about that yet!! I've been so excited and wanted to post and share some of the amazing things i'll be getting up to on my month away! Enjoy x
First stop: SINGAPORE

Packaging
The packaging ideas of our fragrance.
The bottle for the fragrance will be glass and have a silver nozzle to spray the scent. As this is rather expensive and adds cost to the product, the packaging will be made from natural packaging, we want the square box of the packaging to be embossed/screen printed with the label and logo for the product.
We will include marks on the bottom of the box packaging to show our appreciation to our partnership with WGE and no animal testing.
