Les Senteurs

When visiting London on my fragrance project brief, I came across a small store; Les senteurs which from the front looked like a normal perfume store. It was not until you stepped inside and took a look at what the perfumes were really made from you realised this store was extraordinary. A collection called Etat Libre d'Orange, which quite shockingly has a perfume with a scent of sperm and sweat. Gross youre thinking.. this er.. unique perfume is almost unbearably metallic and sharp. It is the kind of effect you get (if you ever did this when you were a kid) where you rub two spoons together really hard and then sniff them – It’s harsh, almost dizzying. I’m not sure what chemical makes this metallic note. A master peice if you ask me!
 Although I must take note on the simple yet beautiful brand identity of the packaging. A label on the side of the bottle rather than the front. Beautiful!
