The making of our fragrance

The day has come to finally put together a scent to our concept! As i've mentioned before, our concept is based on 5 continents; one being South America. This continent was the one we decided to focus on for this activity.
Task: Choose 3 heart notes, up to 3 accessory, fixtures and harmony
The scent: create a fruity and fresh smell to symbolize the carnivals, colorfulness and liveliness of South America
Colours: Green, Red and Yellow

We will use Tobacco or Woody notes in each fragrance to show the unity of each culture
This will help bring the theme of unity and empowerment of women in each continent.

Our final choices!
Tobacco, Citrus, Orchid, Bergamot and Woody

Sarah blending the fragrance together, starting with heart notes

Our heart notes (base layer -  40%)

Accessory notes (middle layers)

We then added another splash of Woody as a fixture note..

Development of brand logo

Brand name: Unitá
Areas of development:
circle = idea of unity and links to shape of the bottle
5 dots =  represents the 5 continents
name = means unity, the value of our brand

Development of our brand name

As our fragrance concept is all about the idea of unity, we decided to take this forward for development. In the industry today, the name 'Unity' is extremely obvious and well.. quite lazy! To make our name a little bit more interesting and relevant to our brand we experimented with different languages and came up with Unitá. (un-eat-ah). Each perfume bottle for each continent will be named after a female name which is popular in there culture. (seen in diagram)
