Love a bitta interning

There's nothing I love more then getting a  good internship which suits your personality and skills perfectly! I've been working with the marketing team at Confetti Media Group working between two divisions: Confetti and Notts TV. My role included assistance with PR Communications, Admin, Social Media, Sales and Market Research jobs. I was responsible for researching, collecting and presenting visual content for Confetti's independent magazine; 'Wire', compiling market research for the Confetti Grad Facebook page, writing interesting content for Notts TV and completing promotional jobs for the Confetti FE Freshers Fair. I also got to attend team meetings to share my ideas with the team for their exciting upcoming campaign #BlueDuck and the new edition of Wire Magazine which was extremely insightful. I am also working with another FCP 3rd year student and being mentored by a FCP grad!

Here are a couple of images I have taken of my time at Confetti:

A mood board I started for inspiration on the FE consumer.

I have learnt a lot from my time with tr marketing team and can't wait to explore the industry of PR and marketing even more! This summer I am hoping to do an internship abroad so fingers crossed! x

TOPSHOP Zine

Every since the day I started to collect zine for my designer zine project I have been a little bit obsessed with one collection.. The Topshop zine. Apart from being completely free from any Topshop store (v dangerous for Topshop lovers) it has a distinctive design which I absolutely love. It's kitsch, flamboyant design brings through the brand and identity of the brand perfectly. This zine is definitely my favourite for design and art direction so take a look in your nearest Topshop store!

Mock up of business cards

So I've decided to get organised before I go back to university and create my own business cards! Below are the digital mock ups I created on Photoshop. I then test printed them on a home printer to check colours, design and size. I chose a monochrome theme as it's simple, effective and visually pleasing. I will be adding a creative twist to the cards (they are not finished yet!) which I will post very soon!

Walking on water

Ralph added another dimension to Fashion Week Monday night in Central Park.

His Polo Ralph Lauren line showed in a runway spectacular with projections of NYC, including the Brooklyn Bridge and other scenes, presented on top of the waters of Cherry Hill lake in the park. After Burberrys projection show in Asia, projection seems to be hitting te too trends for fashion catwalks!

The extravaganza closed with Lauren taking a bow on the lake (at least it looked that way). If you haven't seen it use the hashtag #Polo4D to check out the videos and photos! Mindblowing.
